To Heat or Not to Heat
Good morning, Chelmsford! It’s that time of year when you might see both sandals and snow boots in the same week. The classic New England dilemma of when to turn on the heat is in full swing: if you’re still stubbornly avoiding the thermostat, you’re not alone (there’s no trophy for “Last Household to Turn on the Furnace,” but bragging rights are real). The days are crisp and the nights are downright chilly, so layer up and let’s dive into this week’s local happenings.

📨 **Help the Lowdown Grow** The more this newsletter spreads, the better it gets. If you’ve got a neighbor, coworker, friend, family member, or even a fellow commuter who could use a dose of Chelmsford in their inbox, give that little referral box at the bottom a look.
A few shares go a long way toward keeping this whole thing rolling. And hey, just like my candy haul from the 4th of July parade, you won’t walk away empty-handed. There’s a C-Town Lowdown mug in it for you if you make it to 5 referrals.
